Privacy Policy

What we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

• On your device: school and team choices (My Teams), alert preferences, and similar settings stored locally in your browser or app storage.
• Push notifications: if you turn Phone alerts on, we store a push subscription (device/endpoint keys) so we can send schedule-drop, time-change, or game-soon alerts you asked for.
• iPhone app alerts and plans: if you turn on Phone alerts or subscribe in the iPhone app, our alert service stores the Apple push token, a random anonymous install ID created by the app, the teams you follow, and the App Store transaction ID of your plan. We use these only to send the alerts you asked for and to confirm your plan with Apple. They are not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and are not used for tracking or ads. The push token, followed teams and transaction ID are deleted when you turn alerts off, and any of it, including the install ID, is deleted on request at [email protected].
• Optional email: only if you contact us (for example Request a team or support). We use it only to handle that request.
• Technical basics: standard server logs (IP, user agent, and timestamps) when you load pages or our alert service, used for reliability and abuse prevention.

We do not require an account to use the core schedule features.

How we use information

• Show schedules and calendars you request
• Send the alert types you enable
• Improve reliability and fix bugs
• Respond if you contact support

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Sharing

We may share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers that host the app and push service (for example Cloudflare) under their terms, as needed to run GameBell
• Payment processors: subscriptions are bought and billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you subscribe. They handle payment under their own privacy policies; we never receive your payment card details
• Authorities if required by law

Schedule data comes from public school/athletics calendar feeds. Those sites have their own policies.

Retention

• Local settings stay on your device until you clear site data or uninstall.
• Push subscriptions are kept while alerts stay on; we remove or stop using them when you turn alerts off or the subscription expires.
• Optional emails and support messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your choices

• Turn Phone alerts off in the app.
• Clear site data or remove the app to delete local settings.
• Email [email protected] to ask about push subscription deletion or questions.

Children

GameBell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
